Palia 0.166 patch: New Quests
There are now new quests, allowing your story to carry on past choosing your Shepp. Whilst it previously ended after you had chosen your Shepp, it will now carry on into a new quest called “The Acceptance Ceremony”. Not only this, but there are now items you can find scattered through Palia that will trigger quests. These are called found item quests.

Palia 0.166 patch: Introducing Pets
As a thank you for supporting Palia, the developer has now added Pets to the game. The first pet introduced to the game will be the Palcat. This pet can be purchased with Palia Coins. In total, there are four Palcats available.
- Island Palcat
- Nocturnal Palcat
- Sandy Palcat
- Snowy Palcat
The Sandy Palcat can be obtained as a one-time bonus when you purchase any amount of Palia coins. The other three Palcats can be obtained when you accumulate 3000 Palia Coins.
These pets will also be available to those who have already spent Palia coins in-game equivalent to 3000 coins, and the pets will be in your inventory.

Palia 0.166 patch: More EXP
Players will now be able to get more EXP from Fishing and Mining. Foraging EXP has been adjusted, meaning players will get less from picking up logs of wood. However, you will get more for chopping wood instead.
This will be helpful if you are looking to get your hands on those high-level recipes from NPCs.
There are now new bundles available for players to purchase from the store. If you are looking to get glamorous, these outfits are now available to buy with Palia Coins. Palia Coins do have to be purchased with real-life currency. The new bundles available are:
- Spa Day Bundle: 850 Palia Coins per outfit or 1700 Palia Coins for the bundle
- Hibernate Outfit
- Snooze Outfit
- Unwind Outfit
- Builder Bundle: 1275 Palia Coins per outfit, 2549 Palia Coins for the bundle
- Log Cabin Outfit
- Skyscraper Outfit
- Treehouse Outfit

- Huntable creatures should no longer randomly disappear.
- If you had multiple storage chests across multiple housing plots, your inventory may now be overflowing. We encourage you to craft, gift, and sell to your heart’s content!

- Messages now send as expected in server chat after moving between servers.
- Mountain Morel Mushrooms no longer disappear from the player’s Housing Plot after they relog, or leave their plot
- Players no longer lose axe and pick durability if striking a tree or node too high a level for your tools.

- The QE object rotation is now functioning in the H menu topdown mode as intended.
- The Server Sync button now works when players are on the same map, but on different servers.
- The Tent can now be picked up properly, and no longer triggers the “need to pick up all interior decor” error message, which occurred even if there was no decor inside.
- There is no longer a floating tassel (or as many thought, a broom) on the front deck outside the General Store. You will be missed, Jerry the Broom.
- You can now access your lockbox storage chest.
