The Order: 1886 may have divided critics and players with its heavy use of in-game cut-scenes, but when it’s all said and done , it was a marvellous game.
For those who were put off by the premium price-tag for a game with very little replay value, maybe now is the time to get stuck into Ready at Dawn’s gritty story-driven shooter.
US retailer is offering The Order: 1886 for just $19.99 as part of its ‘deal of the day’ promotion. Not that bad a price considering leading online outlet Amazon is still flogging the game for nearly $30. [Update: Amazon has since price-matched Best Buy’s $19.99.]
Still, despite a heavy price-cut, some still won’t be tempted. Maybe $18.86 is the sweet spot for Galahad’s tale…
