Star Wars: Battlefront is launching on the 17th of November in North America, but everyone else will have to wait until the 19th, so we Europeans may even have to resort to going outside while we wait the extra two days. How tragic. However if you happen to own an Xbox One and subscribe to EA Access you can actually play ten hours of the game right now – you lucky few.
@electronicarts tweeted the following out a short time ago: “Members of @EAAccess can play #StarWarsBattlefront right now!” This means that no matter where you are in the world you won’t have to resort to socialising or going outside – unless you only have a PS4 or PC in which case sorry. It hasn’t been confirmed yet but presumably any progress Access members make now will carry over to the full game when it launches, at least that’s how early access to Need for Speed worked.
If you haven’t already done so you can pre-order Star Wars: Battlefront from Amazon UK and get an exclusive steel case to keep the game in.
