When the 20th Anniversary PS4 was announced this past December there were almost immediate calls from consumers for Sony to release the controller separately as well.
Six months later Sony finally answered this call and has announced the release of the special edition controller as well as a 20th Anniversary Gold Headset.
We would like to apologize for reporting this a bit late but the announcement slipped past even our radar.
Both will be released on September 30th of this year. The controller is available for preorder here and the headset here. Also noteworthy, the headset is currently on sale with three whole cents knocked off! Grab them while you can!
