Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Duplication Glitch: What You Need
First and foremost for this glitch, you will need to have finished the main story. Now, we don’t want to spoil that for you if you haven’t done so, so consider this your warning to turn away if you don’t want some details of the end of the game explained.
Once you have finished the main story, you will be able to use Koraidon or Miraidon in battle, depending on your version. You can still use them as you have been for traversal, but you can also change them to battle mode, adding them to your party.
Adding Koraidon/Miraidon to your party is the crux of this glitch, so you will need to be able to do that before you can start duplicating items. Beyond that, you simply need the item you wish to duplicated, you need to go into your settings and set Send to Boxes as Manual, and finally, you need to be in an area where you can easily catch Pokemon. The simplest solution is to head back to the starting area, where Pokemon can be caught first try with a basic Pokeball.

Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Duplication Glitch: The Method
The method for using this glitch has a few steps, most are pretty simple, but there is one step that requires a bit of finesse. The first thing we need to familiarise ourselves with is how to add Koraidon/Miraidon to the party.
It is quite simple, just press Y to open your menu, go over to the party and down to where the legendary Pokemon is at the bottom. Pressing A on the Pokemon and you will be asked if you want to change it to battle form, say yes. If you have six Pokemon in your party, you will be prompted to choose one to send to the boxes. For this glitch, you want to have six Pokemon in your party pretty much at all times.
Now, with Koraidon or Miraidon in your party, press A on it and give it an item to hold. This needs to be the item you want to duplicate. Once that is done, press + to mount your Pokemon, which will take it out of the party. Open up your menu, and return Koraidon/Miraidon to your party. With that, you are set up to duplicate.
Go and catch a Pokemon, does not matter which one, so do whatever is easiest for you. After you catch the Pokemon you will be asked what you want to do with it, and you need to choose Add to your party. Because your party is full, you need to choose a Pokemon to send to the boxes. Choose the Koraidon/Miraidon who is holding the item, and you will be told you cannot send this Pokemon to the boxes.
This is the tricky part, you need to press A then B, very quickly. Pressing A brings up the error message, so no harm done if you do it too slowly. Pressing B first by accident will bring you back to the previous menu, so you can try again. If you are quick enough, you will get a message telling you Koraidon/Miraidon is holding an item, asking you what you want to do with it. Select Place item in your Bag, and the hard part is done.
The item will be in your bag, and the legendary Pokemon will be in your boxes. However, the Pokemon will have disappeared from the party menu, where it normally appears at the bottom even when it isn’t in your party. This is simply fixed by pressing + to mount the Pokemon, and hopping off again.
Now you can add Koraidon/Miraidon to your party once more, and you will see it is still holding the item you gave it. However, another version of that item is in your bag. You will even have two of your Legendary Pokemon now. Repeat these steps as many times as you like to make as many copies as you wish.
Each time you do it, you will get a copy of Koraidon/Miraidon in your boxes. They can be used in your party, but unfortunately they cannot be traded. If you want to remove all the copies you can add them to your party along with at least one other Pokemon, mount Koraidon/Miraidon, open your menu and press A repeatedly on the Pokemon’s icon at the bottom to remove the extras.
