Remember the crowd-funded racer for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Wii U? It goes by the name of Project Cars, in case you’d forgotten. If you did forget, you’ve probably not heard that the Wii U version got canned a while back. Where have you been all this time?
In all honesty though, you’d be forgiven for not remembering Bandai Namco’s racer; it’s been a bit under the radar in recent months thanks to Driveclub becoming a much better game and Forza Motorsport 6 releasing, then there’s all the other big games which have taken the spotlight. Still, if you’re often getting behind the wheel in Project Cars, there’s some good news for you: you’re getting free stuff.
Well, one piece of free stuff, the other cars are paid-for DLC, but free stuff man.
This update features:
– A new free car, the Mercedes Benz 300SL
– The new Mojave circuit
– New car: 1959 ASTON MARTIN DBR1
– New car: 2009 ASTON MARTIN DBR1-2
– New car: 2014 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE GTE
Not bad, not bad indeed. There’s also a handy trailer to show off what’s coming in the new update which is due out this month, though going by Bandai Namco’s phrasing and the release of the trailer, we’re not sure if it means September or October.
There’s also a second game currently in development. Read more about that over here.
