It feels like we’re writing the same story every other week around here, but here we go again: PSN is once again going through some difficulties.
After trying to login to the PlayStation Store on the PS4 to hand here, we’re experiencing issues with error codes being thrown up. Also, gaming online isn’t working at all after trying to get into a game of Awesomenauts.
Sony hasn’t responded yet, but we’ll keep you informed as to what’s going on.
According to Down Detector, we’re not the only ones having a hard time with the PSN on PS4 as hundreds have taken their frustrations out online.
Hopefully this won’t last too long and we’d be much happier if we could go to bed after writing that the service is back to full functionality.
[Update] It does seem to be restricted to the PS4’s PSN, oddly enough. The PS Vita’s store works fine enough and we had no problem getting the PS3’s godawful store to load, too. [Update 2 2130 GMT] It looks like the outage was only a little hiccup, thankfully. Well, we’re happy enough that we can get off to bed having said that.
