Halloween is over and the spookies have all gone to hide away for another year, but it’s time to take a look back at what games they purchased on PSN while they were out and about. You’ll find a complete list of the top selling games below, but we’ll talk a little bit about the list first.
Starting with Sony’s flagship console the PlayStation 4 we have four brand new games on the list one of which, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, stole the number one spot with Destiny: The Taken King and Fifa 16 coming in second and third respectively.
The list then looks at the top 20 selling pieces of DLC across all systems with The Witcher 3’s – Hearts of Stone expansion crowning the list, followed by not one but three pieces of Rocket League DLC. Next up is a combined list of Sony’s not so flagship consoles – PS Vita and PSP. LittleBigPlanet, Minecraft, and Dead Nation take up the top three positions. Sadly there’s only one new game in this category, which is Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax – don’t ask us how to pronounce that.
Then comes Sony’s last-gen offering the PlayStation 3 with The Last of Us, Battlefield 4, and FIFA 16 taking up the top three positions. It’s nice to see that new players are just beginning to experience Joel and Ellie’s story for the first time… we’re genuinely jealous here in the Cabin. Then rounding off the list is the PS1 and PS2 Classics with Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3 coming in first, second, and third. The Last of Us isn’t Naughty Dog’s only game with lasting appeal.
