Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 will be available for PS4 and Xbox One for $19.99 each. If you have never played these installments of the popular franchise, this is your chance for the current gen.
The games will come out all in different ocasions, though. You can expect Resident Evil 6 to be out as early as March, but Resident Evil 5 will only come out in summer 2016 and Resident Evil 4 in fall 2016. Disc versions will be available in the Americas.
Additionally, all the DLC from Resident Evil 6 that came out post-launch, as well as all the costumes originally only available on residentevil.net, will be included in the forthcoming release.
It’s been nearly 20 years since the first Resident Evil came out for the PlayStation. The game was a success, both commercially and critically, and it created a whole new genre at the time that has echoed ever since, survival horror. As of 2015, the Resident Evil series has sold 61 million copies around the world.
