Retro City Ramapage DX Causes Mischief on iOS

Retro City Rampage has done alright for itself since releasing as a cheap and cheerful one-man release in 2012. Fast-forward a few years and we find ourselves a little older, a little grayer, and a little fatter, yet Retro City Ramage has managed to grow right beside us instead of fading into obscurity – quite an impressive achievement for an indie game developed by one fella.

Since its initial release, Retro City Rampage has managed to release on just about every device under the sun, all except for iOS and Android. Well, that all changed with the release of Retro City Rampage DX for iOS which is out now. The game is priced at a mere £3.99/$4.99 for iOS phones and tablets.

Naturally, the game does away with traditional physical controls due to the lack thereof, but instead utilises touch screen inputs. According to the game’s developer, Brian Provinciano, much of the game has been optimised to provide a decent playing experience with touch screen controls.

The game is out now on iOS and there’s even an update on the way to make swimming controls more fluid. Fluid. Geddit? Sorry…
