Samsung’s New Monitors Can Charge Your Phone Wirelessly

Samsung’s latest screen is now capable of so much more than just a crystal clear picture, it now brings some utility to the battle as it is now more than happy to charge not only your phone, but any Qi-compatible device you have!

This full-HD monitor at 1920×1080 is being released in a 24-inch version (S24E370DL) as well as a 27-inch version (S27E370DS) as both screens are coming fully equipped with AMD’s anti-flicker gaming technology. When watching the video below you can see that the wireless charging station is  located at the base of the monitor, usually where a platform comes out to your monitor completely balanced. This is a very convenient place for a charging station as usually in most cases that area on a desk is not used, and is also not very far away from you. This would provide less clutter on a desk with wireless chargers or cords etc.

Here is what the Senior Vice President of Samsung;s Visual Displays had to say about the matter:
“Technology should support, not interfere with, active lifestyles. Our customers increasingly rely on mobile devices to obtain information and interact with others; so by doing away with the clutter on their desks, we are helping them to use their mobile devices in a smarter way”.
