Which Skills To Unlock First In Sonic Frontiers

The first skill you should be getting is Sonic Boom. There are enemies that fall prey to this attack as they are constantly whipped by projectiles. While hitting an enemy with a combo, hold the L2 (LT on Xbox) button to unleash dozens of waves at your foe with Sonic’s speedy kicks. It can dwindle your enemy’s health in a speedy fashion, and it’s one of the most useful skills in Sonic Frontiers. We also found it useful against Giganto, one of the major bosses in the game. It’s also great to use after performing a parry.
Another skill to unlock early is the Wild Rush. It has Sonic zig-zagging throughout the air super fast and once it is struck against a foe, it will deal a bunch of damage. It’s excellent for traversal spots in combat scenarios, and you can use it by pressing L1 or R1 (LB or RB on Xbox) and then square (X).

Worst Introductory Ability And How To Get Skill Points

The ability we don’t recommend unlocking initially is Air Trick. Like in Sonic Unleashed, the blue hedgehog performs tricks in the air. You’ll see sparks hovering around the animal as he gains Skill Pieces in Sonic Frontiers. Unfortunately, the amount of Skill Pieces you get from this move is pitiful, so it’s not worth getting Air Trick quickly in the Skill Tree process.
There are better ways of getting Skill Points, however. The best way is to beat mini-bosses throughout each open zone. Additionally, you can find Skill Pieces by breaking boxes by jumping up in the air and thundering down on them with the circle (B) button. There are weaker enemies that are sprawling throughout the world, but they carry less Skill Pieces.
