Is Sonic Frontiers Worth Playing?

Sonic Frontiers is an all-new direction for a series that has been plagued with bad game design over recent years. The open zones in this experience are fun to explore with all manner of platforming challenges and enemies to fight against. There’s also a skill tree with brand-new abilities to unlock. The story is also quite intriguing with a darker tone to Frontiers. While there are some technical hiccups like pop-in, even on the PS5 version, it still is worth checking out, especially if you’re a Sonic fan.
