So continue reading our guide to learn about these Splatoon 3 meta weapons.

Best Meta Weapons In Splatoon 3

Here are some of the best weapons in Splatoon 3 that fit the game’s current meta.

Sploosh-O-Matic

The broad muzzle, high fire rate, and significant damage-dealing capabilities of Sploosh-O-Matic make it a perfect weapon for close-range battles. Moreover, the weapon’s Sub: Curling Bomb deals 20 damage on contact, 30 on Splash, and 180 damage on a direct hit. It explodes after 4s with no charge and 2s with a full charge, consuming 70% of your Ink.

  • 40 Stamp splash
  • 100 Stamp direct hit
  • 30 Throw min. splash
  • 60 Throw splash
  • 220 Throw direct hit
  • You can use Sploosh-O-Matic’s Special: Ultra Stamp to forward rush while dealing the following damage:

Aerospray MG

Wanted to use an LMG in Splatoon 3? Well! Here you have it, Aerospray MG, which Sheldon built using his Grandpa’s blueprint. With the extremely high fire rate, less ink consumption per shot, and the capability to suppress enemies with a barrage of ink bullets where each shot’s damage is around 24.5 hit points, Aerospray MG is one of the meta weapons in Splatoon 3.

The weapon’s Sub: Fizzy Bomb can explode up to three times and deal 35 damage on Splash and 50 on a direct hit. Whereas the main Special Reefslider “summons a ridden inflatable pool toy that quickly travels forward, splatting opponents on impact, and explodes, either when the user stops it or when its maximum distance is reached, dealing the following damage:

  • 180 Impact
  • 180 Direct hit
  • 60 Splash

N-Zap ’85

The list wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t add N-Zap ’85. Based on the North American NES Zapper, sharing a similar look, the N-Zap ’85 is a shooter-class weapon in Splatoon 3 with a high fire rate, range, and decent damage. You can kill an opponent using the N-Zap ’85 with just four shots. Here are its Sub and Special skills that make the weapon even more deadly.

  • Sub: Suction Bomb
    • Suction Bombs can be thrown and attached to virtually any surface, including walls and ceilings. After 2 seconds, they explode in a burst of Ink.
    • Damage:
      • 30 Splash
      • 180 Direct hit
  • Special: Tacticooler
    • It is a deployed cooler with four drinks, one for each team member. A player that takes a drink gains substantial but temporary buffs to movement and respawn penalties.

Splat Roller

The Splat Roller is one of the best Roller class weapons in Splatoon 3 that you can use for medium-range engagements. It is an excellent weapon for Inking Turfs in Splatoon 3, as you can Ink the ground efficiently while moving.

You can also use it as a Melee and a short to mid-range weapon. In simple terms, the all-rounder performance of the Splat Roller makes it one of the meta weapons in Splatoon 3. Here is what its Sub and Special abilities do:

  • Sub: Curling Bomb
    • It is a bomb that slides forward, leaving behind an ink trail until it explodes.
    • Damage:
      • 20 Contact
      • 30 Splash
      • 180 Direct hit
  • Special: Big Bubbler
    • It is a temporary spherical barrier preventing enemy shots from passing through but not affecting the user or their team.

Splattershot

The Splatteshot is yet another Shooter class weapon in Splatoon 3 that quickly became the meta thanks to its easy-to-use weapon handling, significant damage, fire rate, and range. It is an all-rounded weapon you can use in almost every game mode to get easy wins.

Its Sub fire is Suction Bomb, the same thing we saw with N-Zap ’85, and its Special is called Trizooka, which temporarily summons a weapon that fires three powerful arcing ink blasts, dealing 40 damage on Splash and 220 on a direct hit.

That concludes our guide on Splatoon 3 best meta weapons. If we missed a weapon that you think fits the current meta, share it in the comments.
