Finally, after a long time waiting behind our North American cousins, us Europe folk will finally be able to download the original Spyro trilogy that hooked us on the Playstation 1.
Available from December 12th, Spyro, Spyro 2 ad Spyro: Year of The Dragon will be available in the form of PSOne Classics, available for Playstation 3 and PS Vita owners for around the same price as previous PSOne Classics, according to the European Playstation Blog.
Personally, I’ve been waiting for these to be available for a long time, so all three games will be a day one purchase, especially good for PS Vita. Spyro on the go? I’ll never complain about that. Never. Ever.
Although, amongst the good news sits a shadow of doubt;
“Note: This product is an emulated version of a PlayStation (PS one) classic. Some functionality may vary from the original PS one version of this product or may not be available. All three Spyro titles are emulated versions of NTSC code. English language only.”
Hopefully this isn’t a big issue and doesn’t detract from the gameplay experience, it would be a shame to have these classics ruined by some weird controls or what not.
