The end of the year is nigh, so it’s fitting that we post a brief message to wish you – our loyal readers – a Happy New Year! It’s sure to be a night to remember for many of you, and we’d like to wish you all the best. It’s been a long year full of ups and downs for everyone, but tonight we get to wash all of our previous worries away (hic, cheers!) with too many alcoholic beverages, then we start the new year afresh – though we suspect many will be starting it with a roaring headache, us included.
It’s been a brilliant 12 months here at The Games Cabin; we’ve grown exponentially, not just in terms of readers, but also in terms of staff. We’re in the process of putting together a team consisting of the right kinds of people, the kind who are dedicated to gaming in every form and want to express that by writing non-boring articles. We pride ourselves on being a little bit different, and we think it’s what keeps people coming back, time and time again. We’re continuously improving with our news coverage, reviews, previews and original features and we’re working getting the site looking even better than it already does. (Note: The font change and font size is a bit of a mess at the moment, but the tech fella hasn’t been sober since Christmas Eve, so… Yeah, we’ll be getting on that pretty soon!)
Going forward into 2016 we’ll be throwing everything we’ve got into making the site your number one source for gaming news. We’ll be providing more news even quicker than before; we’ll be providing more previews quicker than before; we’ll be providing in-depth reviews even quicker than before. Basically, we’re all going to be pulling our socks up that little bit higher to get to where we want to be. We’re pretty good right now, but we want to go higher. Why? Because that’s what you demand from a great gaming site, so we’ll bust a gut trying to achieve it.
