The Games Cabin’s Weekend Play Dates – Issue #3 (We Made it to the Trilogy!)

Another week of hard work is behind us which means only one thing: a weekend of gaming. We’ve stripped away our suits, ties, and any other piece of clothing that is even slightly respectable, and we’ve donned our pants, dressing gowns, and slippers in preparation for a weekend of joyous gaming time. So, what are The Games Cabin’s scribes up to this weekend? Read on and you’ll find out, duh.

World of Tanks has been sat on my PS4’s hard drive for the better part of a week now, so I’ll probably jump in for a few games to get my arse handed to me. Once I’ve pulled off the mandatory rage-quit maneuvers, I’ll head over to the Xbox One and tend to my colourful garden in Viva Pinata. I’m a simple fellow…

This weekend I’ll be finishing up a top secret game. I wish I could tell you all what it is, but I can’t. However, if you check back with TGC at 12GMT on Tuesday the embargo shall lift and the review will be live… probably.

Stefan Mancevski

This week I’ll be visiting the dark zone of New York in the beta of Tom Clancy’s The Division. With a group of two or three friends, we’ll be loot fiending through the streets, taking down rogue agents, and enjoying the game while it’s around.

Dom Kwaczynki

This weekend I’ll be taking a stab at my ever-growing backlog of games and finally get around to playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. After hearing an endless amount of positive things about the game, I wonder how many would still hold up this side of The Witcher 3. Nevertheless, another lengthy journey awaits me and I’m ready to dive in.

A weekend away from home doesn’t always mean you’re leaving home, in fact with Animal Crossing New Leaf I’m taking my home with me. New Leaf is my once again re-founded addiction and one that I’ll be aiming at feeding for the next few days… Or until I stop allowing Tom Nook the pleasure of having me re-mortgage my house and hanging me out to dry, either one.

A simple entry in this week’s issue, but what we want to know is what you’re playing. So, what are you playing? What should we play? Any gems you’ve stumbled across that we should know about? Put em’ down in the comments section below.
