Were there any mounts, minions, or other various items you were putting off farming? Here is your opportunity to save a possible dozen hours and farm something different for them – Moogle Tomestones. You can check out the list of all the soon-to-be-available items on the official website that Square Enix has set up just for the event. The Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt will start on Monday, March 14th, and end when the Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.1 launches, which should be arriving by mid-April 2022.
While returning players can use this opportunity to get some rare glamour items (including the event exclusive Mameshiba Earring), this is also an excellent way for new players to catch up on rare drops.

How to Get Irregular Tomestones
To claim the rewards, you must trade Irregular Tomestones of Scripture to the Itinerant Moogles stationed in the three main cities – Gridania, Ul’dah, and Limsa Lominsa. The amount of Tomestones you will receive depends on the duty completed. See below:
- The Praetorium – 10 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- Castrum Meridianum & Dun Scaith – 7 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Weeping City of Mhach – 5 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- Copperbell Mines (Hard), Pharos Sirius, The Keeper of the Lake, The Aurum Vale – 4 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Void Ark, Dzemael Darkhold – 3 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Wreath of Snakes, Hell’s Kier, The Jade Stoa – 2 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
You can also get these special Tomestones from certain PVP arenas, including The Borderland Ruins, The Fields of Glory, Onsal Hakair, and Hidden Gorge. These will drop either 3 or 5 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture depending on winning.

It is important to note that you must complete these duties level synced, as unsycing will forfeit your ability to get the tomes.
Patch 6.1 and Beyond
The anticipation for the major patch is almost unbearable, as it will be adding a wide variety of content, such as more Main Scenario Quests, Ishgardian Housing Ward, Crystalline Conflict – a new PVP mode, Ultima’s Bane unreal trial, Myths of the Realm 24-person alliance raid, a Tataru focused sidequest chain, as well as more class adjustments, and expanding on the Trust system. There are sure to be more additions on top of these and mid-way patches after the dust settles from patch 6.1.
