Fallout 4 releases in just a couple of months time, yet we’re still yet to hear of any marketing garbage. You know the kind: “Pre-order on Xbox One for exclusive DLC” or “PlayStation 4 edition includes DLC X one month early.”
Timed and exclusive DLC is the bane of many a gamers life. What’s more annoying than buying a game for your console of choice only to find that if you owned the other one, you’d get some extra goodies. Or maybe it’s a bit of a situation where each console gets its own set of DLC, so unless you have both consoles and a copy of the game on each system, you’ll never get the full experience.
Thankfully, Bethesda is rising above such nonsense. Pete Hines, Bethesda’s vice president of marketing has confirmed that no version of Fallout 4 will be getting any more or less content than the other.
So, in basic terms, if DLC releases on the Xbox One, it’ll release at the same time on PS4. Well, providing there aren’t any cock-ups on Sony’s end, but nobody can guarantee that.
Fallout 4 releases on November 10th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
