Almost a month ago we reported that Terrible Posture’s first-person shooter ‘Tower of Guns’ could possibly be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One in physical form quite some time after its original digital-only release last year.
Well, it has since been confirmed that the frantic shooter will be available in physical form as a special edition as well as a limited edition that chucks the game in a heavy steel case. Always handy to have heavy objects lying around the home, just in case of a burglary, right?
It’s a little odd that this one’s getting a physical release, but there’s obviously a market for it else publisher Soedesco wouldn’t bother. The publisher is actually quite a popular one for indie studios wanting to get their wares out on to store shelves as it has previously published Awesomenauts, Ether One and more.
If you’re not familiar with Tower of Guns, it’s basically a level shooter where you have to move your way through the titular Tower; the only problem is that you’ll have to fight your way to the top. It’s a cracking little game, though it’s not a technical powerhouse and does stutter when the action gets absolutely mental. Tower of Guns was actually given out as a freebie a few months ago on PS Plus, but there is an incentive to buying the physical copy as it comes with “exclusive physical content” though what that entails exactly isn’t clear.
Tower of Guns will release on PS4, Xbox One and PS4 this September 24th in the UK. You can pre-order your copy here.
