In an announcement from the official Playstation Blog, Sony has revealed a new special edition Playstation 4 to be available this fall.
The system is not just a new faceplate like some “special editions.” It is fully customized with Darth Vader’s mug plastered all over it and a repeating Star Wars logo.
However things go one step further and arguably the most interesting piece is the DualShock 4 controller that is based on Vader’s memorable chest piece.
As if our hearts could not ache nor our wallets burn in our pockets more…there’s more! The system will be available in two bundles. The first bundle, in addition to the PS4, comes with Star Wars Battlefront and a voucher for four digital Star Wars titles; Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars: Racers Revenge, and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.
The second bundle will come with what is known as “the Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Edition PlayStation Exclusive Hardware Bundle Kit. The kit includes a physical copy of Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, the Disney Infinity Base, the Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack (featuring Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa figures, as well the Rise Against the Empire Play Set piece), and the Boba Fett figure, exclusive to PlayStation through this holiday. The Limited Edition Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars PS4 Bundle will also include a digital voucher for the four classic Star Wars games mentioned above.”
