Yeast is a key ingredient in many cooking recipes in New World. Unfortunately, Yeast is very scarce in New World and hard to come by. So much so that many players are left wondering Where can I get Yeast?
Yeast exclusively comes from Provisions Crates and Provisions Stockpiles. In each of these chests, you can get 3-4 Yeast. Provision crates have a 60 minute respawn timer, so remember this when you are planning your farming routes. Yeast will only appear in provisions in Shattered Mountain, Monarch’s Bluffs, and Brightwood.

Since Yeast is only available in Shattered Mountain, Monarch’s Bluffs, and Brightwood, you will need to go to those regions specifically to find it. In the following section, we show the best paths to follow to loot all the provision crates you can.
Monarch’s Bluffs – Where to get Yeast in New World
Monarch’s Bluffs has provisions crates that yield Rice, Tomatoes, and Yeast, among other meals and recipes including milk. Here you can head directly east of Monarch’s Bluff’s Town to hit two major areas of provision crates. Your second option is to head west to the island with Fort Monarch’s Bluffs, loop down to the south end, and finish at the fast travel shrine.
Brightwood – Where to get Yeast in New World
Brightwood has provisions crates that yield Salt, Apples, and Yeast, among other meals and recipes including milk. There is one main path you can travel to hit an astounding amount of provisions crates for a great farm.
Start at the Brightwood Settlement, head west close to Wolfbough, then follow further south all the way to Walsham, and finish off at Shadowmine. You will likely have to fight enemies along the way as usual, but this farm will net you a hefty amount of much needed Salt.
Shattered Mountain – Where to get Yeast in New World
Shattered Mountain has provisions crates that yield Rice and Yeast, among other meals and recipes including milk. As long as you can fight the enemies just fine, Shattered Mountain is great to obtain provision crates in New World because there are so many spawn points.
If you started your farming route in Great Cleave, which we suggest you do, you will continue it in Upper Svikin. After this area, head West, then North to finish off your Shattered Mountain farming route for crates.
