Earlier today it was announced over in Tokyo that the free-to-play World of Tanks is coming to the PlayStation 4, quite some time after its initial release on the Xbox 360, PC and Xbox One.
There’s no release date just yet, but WarGaming has promised that a beta for the PS4 version will commence sometime later this year. The developers have also stated that there will be ongoing support for the title post-launch with monthly updates.
World of Tanks is a free-to-play title, so you’ll be able to download this one free of charge and, better yet, you won’t even need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online as it will be open to all PSN members. Not bad, not bad at all.
WarGaming has done us a solid and sent over some high-definition screenshots of the game in action as well as the key-art. They’re all collated in the gallery below so just give em’ a click and enjoy.
