World of Tanks has been doing remarkably well for developer Wargaming, so much so that the studio recently announced that the free-to-play war-tank simulator would be releasing on the PS4 after having had a successful release on the PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The beta for the PS4 version is due to go live in the next few days.
However, there’s something a little different coming from the studio today: a free-to-play card game. World of Tanks Generals isn’t the typical cannon-fest that we’re used to, but it promises to provide tactical card combat, set within the universe that you are familiar with. It’s out today on iOS and PC, so you can go ahead and download the app here, or alternatively you can play on the web.
