Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Amiibo functionality
With the announcement of the Link (Tears of the Kingdom) Amiibo, Nintendo have also revealed how TOTK Amiibo functionality works, such as the rewards that will be available, and the compatible Amiibos.
In Tears of the Kingdom, Amiibos can be used to earn exclusive weapons, materials, and special fabric for Link’s paraglider. This goes for both the new Amiibo, and any previous Amiibo in the Legend of Zelda collection.
We don’t know exactly what the specific rewards you can earn from each Amiibo are, but we expect some will give the same rewards they did in Breath of the Wild.
