Gourmet Meat is one of the best food items you can get in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you cook Raw Gourmet Meat into a meal, you can make some of the most effective recipes in the game.

How to farm Gourmet Meat in Tears of the Kingdom
There are a couple of ways to obtain Gourmet Meat in Tears of the Kingdom. Firstly, you can hunt down certain animals that produce Raw Gourmet Meat as an item drop after killing them.
One of the best animals to hunt for Raw Gourmet Meat in Tears of the Kingdom is the Tabantha Moose, as it has a high chance of dropping Raw Gourmet Meat when killed. Bears and Wolves also have a chance of dropping it.
All of these animals can be found in the Hebra Mountains, the snowy area at the top left of the map. These animals will be easier to find and farm for meat once you complete the Rito Village quest and finish the Wind Temple.
However, you’ll need gear that can withstand the cold weather. A good place to get some is the clothes shop in Rito Village.
When hunting for Gourmet Meat in TOTK, we recommend you bring some arrows to easily take these animals down from a distance. Be careful not to kill them with fire or you’ll get seared meat – which can’t be cooked – instead of raw meat.
If you have it, you can also use the Wolf Link Amiibo to give you some meat each time you use it. Keep in mind, though, you can only use it once a day.
