We’re big fans of the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility features, especially when some remasters are barely worth re-releasing. So it’s a pleasure to report that there are a few more games coming to the Xbox One via the nifty backwards compatibility feature.
One user on Instagram noticed that Shadow Complex, Geometry Wars 2 and Worms 2 Armageddon are viewable via the Xbox One as being backwards compatible, except they’re not yet available.
Elsewhere on the internet, Mirror’s Edge has been spotted on the official Xbox Live website as being a backwards compatible title. Not bad, eh? Hopefully those who’re looking forward to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be able to run through Faith’s first outing before the next-gen follow up releases next year.
Of course this news won’t be pleasing to everyone, but for those who own the four titles named above, it’s nice to know that your last-gen titles will be playable soon.
We’re assuming that these will be available to preview members first, so don’t get too excited if you’re not yet a preview member.
