How To Check Your Friendship Level In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Before you venture into raising your friendship level, you might as well check what the current status between you and your favourite Pokemon is first. To do that, you’ll want to make your way to the city of Cascarrafa. It’s south of the Casseroya Lake and west of Medali in the northwest region of Paldea.
Once you arrive in Cascarrafa, get to the second floor by using the lift and you’ll see a fountain ahead of you. To the left near the greenery, you’ll see a woman with a yellow shirt and glasses. She’s next to an adorable Marill. In a yellow speech box above her, she says “You friendly with your Pokemon?” Go speak to her and then select the Pokemon you want to check your friendship level with.
If it’s the best it can be in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, she’ll say, “Whoa, you’re the best friends ever! I Can tell just being together gives you warm fuzzies!” She’ll actually give you a Best Friends Ribbon for your efforts. If it’s somewhere in between, she’ll mention, “You’re good friends, all right! You definitely enjoy each other’s company!”
While you’re in Cascarrafa, you should also pick up Light Clay from the Deliberd Presents shop. It will increase the effectiveness of the moves Light Screen and Reflect. Thankfully, you can enter Deliberd Presents whenever you’d like, so the day and night cycle won’t mess you up.

How To Raise Friendship Level In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet
There are multiple ways you can raise your friendship level with a Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. First and foremost, you’ll want to place that Pokemon first up in your party and then win battles with it. If your Pokemon faints, the friendship level will reduce.
Another way to improve a Pokemon’s friendship level is to give it an item like a Soothe Bell. The friendship level points you get will gain an increase while it is holding a Soothe Bell.
Next, give the Pokemon treats to increase the friendship level. PP Up, HP Up, Protein, Carbos, and other stat-enhancing items will net you a gain in friendship with your pocket monster allies.
Lastly, you can set up picnics and wash your Pokemon for a boost in friendship. Simply walk up to the Pokemon you want to be friends with and press the X button to wash it. Lay on the soap and then wash it with a hose to make it happier towards you.
After following these steps, the friendship level should increase in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Doing this will gain you different evolutions as well. For example, Eevee can evolve into Espeon and Sylveon with enough of a friendship level reached.
The quickest way to see if you’re at the right spot is by using a cheeky Rare Candy to level it up instantly. If a cutscene starts playing, you know that the evolution has begun. Raising the friendship level will also evolve other Pokemon like Chansey into Blissey.
