What is the Annihilus Charm?
The Annihilus, or Anni for short, is a charm that drops off of the Dclone boss mob in Diablo 2 Resurrected. The Annihilus charms stats are as follows:
- +1 to All Skills
- +10 to +20 All Attributes
- +10 to +20 All Resistances
- +5% to +10% All Experience Gained
The Anni charm is one of only 2 items in the game that give bonus experience with the other being Ondals Wisdom.
Why Does The Annihilus Charm Exist?
Back in the early days of diablo 2 a method of heavy item duping was discovered. This discovery led to the mass duping of Stone of Jordan rings.
To combat this mass duping of Soj, Blizzard implemented a boss called the Diablo Clone or Dclone for short. The way to summon this boss was to sell anywhere from 75-125 Stone of Jordan rings to the vendor.

2.4 Patch Method (Current)
With the release of patch 2.4, major changes have gone into how you acquire the Annihilus Charm. Listed below is the new method for attaining it.
Step 1: Stone of Jordan.
Stone of Jordans are still required to summon Uber Diablo by selling them to a merchant, however instead of it being IP based it is now Region based.. What this means is that there are now 8 Instances within a region depending on what you play on whether that be Ladder or Hardcore ladder and so forth. Once enough have been sold on that instance, everyone on that instance in that region gets an Uber Diablo to spawn in their Hell Game. To check to see how many have been sold use the command /uberdiablo in chat.
Step 2: Be in a game on Hell Difficulty.
Once you see that enough Stones of Jordan are being sold to the vendor, be ready in a hell difficulty game. Once the message Diablo Walks the Earth comes across your chat box your ready for step 3.
Step 3: Picking your summoning location
This step doesn’t differ from the old method. Once the message has been stated, Search for the location of the nearest Static unique monster. Most use Bishibosh in Act 1 however sometimes he spawns elsewhere such as in the Chaos Sanctuary after popping a boss seal. After you come across Dclone, be ready for a fight as he is a buffed up version of Diablo himself.
Non 2.4 Patch Method (Outdated)
Step 1: SOJ’s
It is relatively simple to summon the Diablo clone. If you have 125 Stone of Jordan rings sitting around, start a hell game and sell them to a vendor. If you do not have that many you will have to search out on the forums or in certain discords to find out when people are doing a Dclone run.
Step 2: Get a Group (Out of Date)
A Dclone run is where a bunch of people get together and contribute 1-2 Stone of Jordans to 1 person and they summon the Dclone from their game. Only 1 Annihilus charm can drop per game.
To get around this, a program is used to find the IP of the game where the Stone of jordans will be sold. A single server IP can have as many as 300 games on it and every single one of those games will get a Dclone spawn when the initial one sells the Stone of Jordans.
Step 3: Diablo Walks the Earth
Once you are on the correct IP of one of these games and the SoJ are sold, You will see a prompt in your game that says “Diablo Walks The Earth”. This message means you are in a game where Dclone is active. The game must be on Hell Difficulty.
Step 4: Pick your Summoning Location for Diablo Clone
Once the message has been stated, Search for the location of the nearest Static unique monster. How to Kill Dclone? (Diablo Clone)
Except for a few minor differences, the fight against Diablo Clone will be very similar to regular Diablo. Diablo Clone starts by casting Armageddon when you are within visual range. Diablo Clone moves much faster than normal so you should be ready to avoid being hit by his stronger attacks.
