There are plenty of new creatures in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Bubbulfrogs are one of many. They can give some great rewards in the game. This guide will break down how to get your hands on Bubbul Gems and how to use them in Tears of the Kingdom.
What are Bubbul Gems in Tears of the Kingdom?

Bubbul Gems are items dropped after you have killed a Bubbulfrog. Bubbulfrogs are found both on the Ground and in the Sky, most often on the walls of a Cave.
Every Cave has a Bubbulfrog, and your map will be ticked off once you have killed it. It just needs to be hit once and then it will die, giving you the Bubbul Gem.
How to use Bubbul Gems

Bubbul Gems can be used to gain useful rewards in the game. However, in order to be able to get them, you will have to complete a side quest to access the merchant who will trade with you.
You will meet with Kilton once again in Tears of the Kingdom, and he will take your Bubbul Gems off of your hands and give you rewards. This time, he has his brother as a companion, who is in search of becoming a Satori.
If you are unable to find them, you will want to head northeast of Lookout Landing, to Woodland Stable.
If you already have Bubbul Gems on you, give one to Koltin, and you’ll be rewarded with a Bokoblin Mask. They are also near Pico Cave, so this gives you an opportunity to get another Bubbul Gem.
In order to get your rewards, you will need to seek out Koltin, who has since moved on from the area. Here is where you can find him and get all of the rewards.
All Bubbul Gem rewards

To get your rewards, first speak to Kilton in Tarrey Town who will tell you where to find his brother. Koltin is north of the Hyrule Field Chasm. The coordinates for his exact location are -0317, 0163, 0121.
One of the best rewards he can give you is the Mystic Robe Gear Set. This is because it can make you lose Rupees instead of health when you take damage, which can be incredibly useful if you have a surplus of money.
