Konami Bringing New Yu-Gi-Oh! to PS4 & Xbox One

Looks like Konami haven’t completely abandoned consoles just yet: there’s a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, as revealed by a recent rating for the game by the German classification board.

The game is going by the name Yu-Gi-Oh!: Legacy of The Dualist, other than that, not much else is known about the unannounced title and the USK don’t give us anything else to report.

Not too long ago Konami announced that the firm would be shifting its focus towards the ever-growing mobile platform, so it’s a little surprising to see a new title being in production for the PS4 and Xbox One.

We’d much rather have Silent Hills, thanks.

  1. Digital-only incoming?
Also don’t forgot the upcoming Metal Gear game (no platforms announced) that will be the first installment without Kojima’s involvement in years, and the mobile game Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. How about porting that game to iPhone and the upcoming iOS 9? And how about frequent updates for every base TCG meta update and every card and mechanic introduced in each episode of Arc-V once it airs in the US?
(Will Konami’s internal teams in Japan help out with Other Ocean’s work on the Yu-Gi-Oh! games?)
Or better yet for Japanese TCG players Konami should make a Japan-only Yu-Gi-Oh! paid mobile game.
