A few weeks ago we broke the news that Telltale’s Back to the Future would be getting a rerelease on the PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Nothing has officially been confirmed by Telltale as of yet, but the producer of the original movies has spoken out and confirmed the game will be coming later this year to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original movie.
Bob Gale recently spoke with Beyond The Marquee and gave some details on what the remaster will include. According to Gale, Back to the Future: The Game will feature enhanced graphics as well as a new addition to the voice-cast: Tom Wilson.
Tom Wilson was the original actor for all of the Biff characters in the trilogy of films, but he didn’t feature in the episodic video-game series – until now. Wilson has taken to the sound studio and re-recorded all of the dialogue for the Biff characters in Back to the Future: The Game. It’s not a massive deal, but it’s an extra layer of authenticity that die-hard fans of the franchise will surely appreciate.
It’s expected, but not yet confirmed, that Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition will release on October 13th.
