You may see one of your goals for the track is to complete aerial stunts in Disney Speedstorm. Thankfully, this is fairly easy to perform if you’re on the right course; some may disable the ability. For example, I wasn’t able to perform an aerial stunt as Sulley in the Monster’s Inc level.
Similar to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you can only perform aerial stunts by jumping off a ledge and pressing a button in the game. On the Nintendo Switch, tap on Y just before you leap off the edge. The other major racing tip that Disney Speedstorm surprisingly doesn’t teach is charged skills. When you have an item, you can hold the designated button to change its effect. For example, you can turn the trail of fire into a radial explosion instead. Usually, defensive skills are turned into physical attacks, giving you more options mid-race.
Make sure to drift as much as possible too. You’ll gain a turbo boost with every successful drift you perform; the longer the drift is, the better the boost will be. Aerial stunts in Disney Speedstorm is only one way to be successful in the game. And that’s the “Gospel Truth.”
