Tears of the Kingdom: How to take off on a Zonai wing glider
While traversing the Great Sky Island, or other areas in Tears of the Kingdom, you might find a Zonai wing glider. This winged creation left behind by the Zonai people, offers you a chance to soar through the air like an eagle. But how does it work?
Firstly you’ll need to find one. Luckily, they’re placed at many different locations in the game. Then, take off with it.
To do this, you’ll need a slope followed by open air. Pick up the Zonai wing glider with your Ultrahand ability and place it on a slope, and it should start to slide down towards the air.
Jump onto it as it starts to descend, and when it slips off the end of the slope it will start to soar. If you don’t have a slope, you can also use Zonai devices like rockets to propel it forward.
Tears of the Kingdom: How to steer a Zonai wing glider
Once you’re atop your Zonai wing glider it will start soaring forwards. It might seem like it’s moving by itself, but you can actually steer it in different directions.
To steer it, move to a different part of the Zonai wing glider. For example, standing on the left wing will make the glider turn to the left. You can also step on the front of the Zonai wing glider to make it dive downwards at a steeper angle if you need to descend quickly.
But be warned: the glider will eventually lose altitude the further it goes. So, keep in mind that you can’t fly forever!
