This guide will explain how you can help Addison in Tears of the Kingdom. Addison is a recurring character who you’ll probably encounter many times on your travels across Hyrule.
Here’s where to find all Hudson Construction signs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and how to solve the puzzles.
Tears of the Kingdom: Where to find Addison
One of the first side missions you might come across is helping an NPC called Addison who, in an odd, cult-like fervour, asks for your help to prop up President Hudson’s Construction signs.
You’ll find Addison holding up nine Hudson Construction signs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Here are just some of the locations where you can find him:
- Near Central Square in Hyrule Castle Town Ruins.
- South of Quarry Ruins.
- Between Ludfo’s Bog and Breach of Demise.
- Directly south of Salari Hill.
- West of Goron Hot Springs.
- At the end of the path between Parache Plains and Papetto Grove.
- East of Mount Granajh.
- Near the end of the path between Bloodleaf Lake and North Akkala Beach.
- South of Pikida Stonegrove.
Note: There may be more President Hudson signs in the game that we haven’t found yet. If we come across them, we will update this section of the guide.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to help Addison
Your task is to help Addison secure these signposts in place by ensuring the sign won’t fall over once he lets go of it. This usually requires some clever Ultrahand usage, one of the game‘s most innovative tools.
You can use Ultrahand on anything nearby, which will usually be wood but could also be boulders or other materials. You can build a simple wall around the sign, but if you really want you can go wild and build a giant robot to prop it up instead.
The sky is the limit, but a simple wooden structure will usually do. It won’t be enough to just push a plank against the sign – you’ll need to have a solid base and attach a vertical standee to make sure it doesn’t topple over.
Addison, thankful for your help, will shower you with rewards, including a varying amount of Rupees, a delicious meal, materials or a Pony Pass. These puzzles are worth doing since they’re pretty quick most of the time, but some will give you a lot more materials to work with than others.
That’s everything you need to know on how to help Addison in Tears of the Kingdom.
