Honkai Star Rail is out, and banners full of rare characters and light cones are available for players to try their luck on. Banners are the only way to unlock 5-star rarity characters, so naturally many Honkai Star Rail players will want to know who’s available.
This guide will provide a quick rundown of all the banners available with Honkai Star Rail 1.0 as well as what you need for them. There are lots of characters to unlock, so let’s take a look!
Honkai Star Rail: Regular banners
There are currently a few different banners in the game you can pull characters on. Each attempt is a “warp”, and requires a Star Rail Pass or Star Rail Special Pass.
Firstly, there’s the Departure Warp starter banner. This banner is available for new players, and you can only use it for 50 warps. You’re guaranteed one random 5-star character from the permanent selection after your 50 warps.
The characters available in this selection include Clara, Bailu, Welt, Himeko, Gepard, Bronya and Yanqing. These characters are also available in the Stellar Warp banner, which is the standard permanent banner. Both of these banners require you to have Star Rail Passes.
Stellar Warp guarantees either a 5-star character or 5-star light cone after 90 warps. Every 10 warps will guarantee you a 4-star character or light cone. If you’re familiar with Genshin Impact pull rates, they’re very similar here.
In Honkai Star Rail 1.0, there’s a limited-time banner called Butterfly on Swordtip where you can pull the limited 5-star character Seele. This banner requires you to use Star Rail Special Passes.
Seele has a 50% chance to show up when you pull a 5-star, and you’re guaranteed a 5-star every 90 warps. The regular chance of pulling a 5-star with any warp is 0.6%. The banner also has an increased chance of pulling the 4-star characters Natasha, Pela and Hook.
The limited-time banner “Brilliant Fixation” is also available in Honkai Star Rail. This banner features a 5-star light cone called In the Night which has a 75% drop rate when you receive a 5-star on the banner. This banner requires Star Rail Special Passes.
These banners will both end 3 weeks after the launch of the game, on May 17th. The next limited character banner after that will focus on Jing Yuan, a 5-star lightning character.
There you have it, all the banners available in Honkai Star Rail 1.0!
