How many Shrines are there in Tears of the Kingdom?
So how many Shrines are in the game? In total, there are 152 Shrines for you to complete in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That’s a pretty hefty amount.
Each one will reward you with a Light of Blessing, but only once you’ve completed the challenge within the Shrine. These items can be traded in at the Goddess Statues found across Hyrule in exchange for Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels. There’s one below ground in Lookout Landing, as well as most villages or towns in the game.
What do you get for completing all the Shrines?
But what do you get for finishing every Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom? For completing all 152 Shrines, you will get the Ancient Hero’s Aspect. This is an armour set that drastically changes Link’s appearance.
This armour set will grant 12 defence, and you can upgrade it like other armour sets. It essentially turns Link into a Zonai like Rauru.
To unlock this armour set, you need to complete all 152 Shrines and then head to the Temple of Time on Great Sky Island. After using Recall on the gears to get to the next level, you will see a treasure chest containing the Ancient Hero’s Aspect gear.
That’s all you need to know about how many shrines are in Tears of the Kingdom.
