Premium carnage
Retro City Rampage will be making it’s way onto the Xbox Live Arcade in the New Year.
The parody game pokes fun at just about everything, from Grand Theft Auto to Batman to Metal Gear Solid, there’s a whole load of easter eggs and references to have a chuckle at.
Retro City Rampage is due to appear on the Xbox Live Arcade on January 2nd, with a Wii release due some time down the line later on in January.
The price? 1200 Microsoft Points or ($15/£10) and will offer polished gameplay with bugs patches already applied right out of the gate.
I strongly recommend this to anybody with a love for daft games. It’s not got the same enjoyable gameplay as say, Grand Theft Auto, but it’s worth the asking price just for the amusement alone. Though I had to say I’m biased towards any console, for an optimum experience Retro City Rampage is best played on the Playstation Vita, if only for the fact you can take it anywhere and dip in and out for quick bursts of stupid fun.
