As the title of the upcoming sequel suggests, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End could very well be the last in the series. It’s a touchy subject for the fans of Naughty Dog’s epic series, but even the man behind the voice of monkey-man Nathan Drake thinks it’s the last.
Speaking to the folks over at IGN, Nolan North expressed his desire for the series to go out with a bang and at the top of it’s game, stating.
“If this is the last one indeed, and I believe it’s the last one – nothing’s confirmed, but I believe it’s the last one Naughty Dog wants to do.”
Whilst it may be sad to see the series end, it’s also a chance to conclude the tale of Nathan Drake, closure if you will. Remember, there can be too much of a good thing. Though Nathan’s adventures may end, there’s always the possibility of a prequel, maybe in the same vein as the PS Vita exclusive Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
