The Australian and Brazilian ratings boards have seemingly revealed a new entry in the massively popular Uncharted series.
The title seems to be a mobile/PS Vita game as it’s not being developed by Naughty Dog or even SCE Bend, the guys behind Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but is instead being taken on by the little known One Loop Games.
One Loop Games have previously worked on mobile adaptations of popular franchises such as James Bond, God of War and Ratchet & Clank.
Uncharted: Fight For Fortune looks like it will be a social multiplayer game with the focus being on card collection/trading, at least according to the Brazilian ratings board who list the game as a PS Vita only title that will be a “Casino Card Game.”
Whether this will be a worthy entry into the series stands to be seen as there is no clue to a release date and no definite answer as to exactly which platforms it will be coming to, but the most likely seems to be mobile platforms, so PS Vita, PS Mobile, maybe even Android and iOS.
Maybe Sony will address this sooner than they originally planned and quash any rumors then again, they may just let us stew in our own pots of speculation. Damn you Sony…
What do you think? Would you want to see the Uncharted series spin off into a “Casino Card” game? Just please no Unkarted: Drakes Intersection…
