You can find Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts Legacy at any Inferi camp. They are scary creatures that look like zombies. The nearest location to Hogwarts you can find them is near Keenbridge, a village that’s south of the castle.
Once you arrive in this swampland community, go northeast across the bridge. You’ll find a graveyard waiting for you. The Inferi will start to pop out from the ground. Remember that you have to use a fire spell like Incendio or Confringo to cause damage to these monsters.
After taking out the Inferi, they should drop Stench of the Dead which can be picked up from the ground.
You can also buy Stench of the Dead if you don’t want to bother gathering the resource. Go to J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade, and you can buy one Stench of the Dead from the shopkeeper for 100 Gold. You can also purchase Mallowsweet from a nearby store called The Magic Neep.

Alongside Leech Juice and a Shrivelfig Fruit, you can create Thunderbrew from any Potions Station at the Room of Requirement or the Potions classroom. It will take one and a half minutes to brew.
The Thunderbrew Potion is excellent for handling masses of enemies that surround you. It will cause damage over time as the storm around the witch or wizard strikes down on thy foes.
