Disney Speedstorm offline play would make the game great for families. You could take the game with you to camping trips or even Disneyland if you wanted to. However, lots of games need to connect online for them to work properly. Can you play Disney Speedstorm offline? Here’s your answer.
- Did you know you can do flips in the air in Disney Speedstorm?
Is playing Disney Speedstorm offline possible?
Many live service games like Disney Speedstorm do not support offline play for one reason or another. Most mobile games are frustratingly like that. Despite the game wanting to connect to servers as it boots up, playing Disney Speedstorm offline is possible.
Boot up the game like usual, and then as it’s trying to connect, an error message will be displayed. It will ask if you want to play the game offline. Say that you want to play it this way, and it will continue on to the main menu.
- Disney Speedstorm will eventually be free-to-play at some point.
What modes can you play while Disney Speedstorm is offline?
Despite the single-player content like Season Tour and Starter Circuit seemingly not needing online play, they are completely locked on the main menu while you’re offline. The only thing you’ll see that’s available is Local Freeplay.
Once you select this mode, you can choose between one and two players. Next, you can pick the stage and the track layout you’d like. There are a lot of options available to you. If you can’t decide, pick “Random Track.” This makes the process faster.
Next, you can pick the rules of the race. You can choose the CPU Difficulty, the number of CPU Racers, how many Laps, and the speed of the race. After that, you can finally choose who you want to race as, which includes Mickey Mouse, Hercules, and Mulan, among other treasured Disney characters.
At the time of writing, Disney Speedstorm is in early access. Hopefully, more offline options will be added to the game as it’s developed.
