What are Chasms in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
In Tears of the Kingdom, Chasms are huge crevices where you can enter the Depths part of the world below ground. You will be able to notice them across the world as they have a red liquid that pours out of them called Gloom. Gloom can also be seen on the map, so this will allow you to be able to seek out Chasms more easily when you are looking for them in the game

How to enter a Chasm in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
If you are wanting to enter a Chasm in Tears of the Kingdom, you have to do a couple of specific steps in order to be able to get into the Depths.
- Drop down into the Chasm
- Accelerate downwards until the floor is visible
- Use the glider just before you hit the ground
In the Depths, you are then able to explore an entire region that mirrors the size of the world above ground. There are plenty of side quests to complete, as well as a Main quest to complete later down the line.
