Do You Keep Progress From MW2 Beta?
Sadly, you will not be able to keep the progress you made in the current Modern Warfare 2 beta, meaning it will not carry over into the launch version on October 26. Any levels, weapons, perks, and more that you unlocked will need to be regained. There is some good news though, as Activision has added some rewards for players who take part in the beta.
While the beta runs, players will be able to earn exclusive rewards by reaching certain levels, and these items will be added to your account for the full release. There are a total of ten rewards that can be earned from the 30 levels in the beta, ranging from skin blueprints, to player cards. These rewards are:
- Level 2 – Smashed It (Animated Emblem)
- Level 4 – Buckle Up (Charm)
- Level 6 – Passed The Test (Animated Player Card)
- Level 10 – Operation First Blood (Sticker)
- Level 15 – Side Impact (Weapon Blueprint)
- Level 18 – Collision (Operation Skin)
- Level 19 – No Competition (Vinyl Unlock)
- Level 21 – Safety First (Sticker)
- Level 26 – Floor It (Vehicle Skin)
- Level 30 – Frontal Impact (Weapon Blueprint)
If you don’t reach level 30 during the Modern Warfare 2 beta, it’s unknown if there will be other ways to unlock these rewards down the line, but it’s best to assume these will be exclusive to this beta period.
That’s all for our breakdown of the question, do you keep progress from the MW2 beta? Now you know that you won’t keep all of your progress, apart from a select few rewards for levelling up.
