Keep reading and we’ll explain everything you need to know!
Tears of the Kingdom: Changing time by sleeping
You can change the time of day in Tears of the Kingdom by visiting an inn or finding a bed anywhere else in Hyrule.
Sleeping in a bed will allow you to choose which time of day you want to wake up, with options including morning, noon or night.
There’s a free bed you can use in Lookout Landing down in the middle section, or you can visit one of the many inns or stables to use their beds for a price. A normal bed will typically cost you 20 rupees, but you can pay a bit more for a special bed that can give you bonuses including extra hearts temporarily.

Tears of the Kingdom: Changing time by a fire
You can also start a campfire and rest near it to change the time of day in Tears of the Kingdom.
To start a fire, you need wood and flint. Drop one piece of wood and flint next to each other, then strike it with a metal weapon or shoot it with a Fire Fruit attached to an arrow.
You will then get the option to rest by the fire, and you can change the time of day to morning, noon or night. This is helpful when you don’t have any beds nearby and you want to quickly change the time of day, but it won’t work if it’s raining. If you’re in the rain, you should find a shelter to build the fire under.
That’s everything you need to know thanks to our “change time of day Tears of the Kingdom” guide.
