Are you wondering how to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have given the popular Generation 5 Pokemon Bisharp a brand-new evolution.
Prior to Generation 9, the evolutionary line started with Pawniard, and ended with Bisharp. But Bisharp’s days as a ruthless leader are finally over.
The Dark/Steel type Kingambit is one of the strongest non-Legendary Pokemon in the game. With a total base stat total of 550, and a busted ability called Supreme Overlord, we can’t blame you for wanting to get your hands on this Pokemon.
If you’re looking to add Kingambit to your team, this guide will run you through where to find the previous two stages and the unusual method to evolve them into Kingambit.
- Kingambit isn’t the only new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet!
Pokemon Scarlet And Violet: Where To Find Bisharp
There’s the easy way and the hard way when it comes to finding the second stage evolution, Bisharp, in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
The hard way? Find a Pawniard around East Province (Area Three), South Province (Area Five), or Tagtree Thicket. You’ll then have to level it up to level 52 to get a Bisharp. Hope you’ve been stockpiling EXP Candies!
If you want to avoid a grind almost as ruthless as Bisharp itself, you can always head to the Bamboo Forrest of North Province (Area Two). You’ll be able to find Bisharp roaming around.
If you want to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit, stick around in the Bamboo Forrest.
- Scarlet and Violet have one of the lowest Metacritic scores ever…
How To Evolve Bisharp Into Kingambit
If you want to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit, you’ll need to find a new item in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – the Leader’s Crest.
There are two types of Bisharp spawns in Bamboo Forrest. You’ve got a few solo Bisharp, and one surrounded by a group of Pawniard. The ringleader Bisharp will always be carrying a Leader’s Crest. Catch this Bisharp.
Next, you and your new Bisharp will have to prove your worth. It’s said that only a Bisharp that stands above all others in its vast army can evolve into Kingambit. This task definitely proves you’re the very best like no one ever was, so make sure to stock up on Super Potions.
You’ll need to defeat three fellow ringleader Bisharp in Bamboo Forrest so they drop their Leader’s Crests. A Fighting-type move like Low Kick will make short work of them.
Once you’ve defeated three Bisharp surrounded by Pawniards in Bamboo Forrest, you need to raise your Bisharp’s level by one.
Your Bisharp will then evolve into Kingambit!
